The pattern comes from the original Dale of Norway Cortina sweater from 1956, the very first Olympic sweater made for the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The Cortina pattern embodies essence of Norwegian tradition and has become one of Norway's most popular patterns.
