Fannaråki Ladies Sweater
A soft and sporty wool jumper with a slim fit. The playful and broken pattern has taken details from the Dale of Norway Olympic jumper from 1984 and combined them with the classic lice pattern.
A raised structure runs across the chest and sleeves. Fannaråki is knitted from soft, air-spun merino wool and has a ribbed neckline,
sleeves and hem.

Since thick merino wool is prone to pilling, air is blown into the core of the wool fibres. This allows this merino yarn to be knitted with minimal pilling.

Story:
The pattern is a reinterpretation of the Dale of Norway Olympic jumper from the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. Fannaråki (2068 metres above sea level), also known as Fanaråken, is a mountain peak in Jotunheimen National Park. At the top of the popular mountain peak is Norway's highest overnight accommodation, Fannaråkhytta.
