Vilja Weatherproof Hoodie
Vilja's weatherproof hoodie is knitted from 100% Norwegian wool that has been treated to repel water and lined with a breathable, windproof lining. It has a fitted cut with a slightly oversized fit. The young, feminine look is accentuated by drawstrings at the hem and hood. The hoodie has a quarter zip, two front zip pockets and a large hood with a skin-friendly merino wool lining. A perfect companion for the great outdoors.
The Vilja hoodie is made from Norwegian wool, one of the most animal-friendly textile fibres in the world. Our wool comes from sheep that are known to roam free in the vast Norwegian hillsides, grazing on natural pastures. This yarn offers an authentic look that is known for its unique crinkled look and durability.
The Vilja hoodie has a touch of the 50s and 60s. The design elements are enhanced by the classic Norwegian eight-petalled rose, the cross known from the Setesdal and Cortina patterns and the lice pattern.
"Vilja" is a Nordic female given name and means both "wealth" and "grain", but also "will". The will to see things in a new way. The will to pass on the best of our Norwegian design history.
