In the beige color variant (M00), undyed and dyed yarns are combined. Blend of Nature Undyed and Seagull: This color variant, knitted from a blend of Nature Undyed and Seagull yarns, features different sections, each made from one of these qualities. The Nature Undyed portions use our undyed, lightweight wool from Uruguay and display the natural color variations of the fiber, ranging from darker to lighter tones. These nuances are carefully sorted and blended into mélanges, creating a limited palette of authentic, natural colors. As no dyeing process takes place, the yarn remains 100% natural, avoiding the chemicals typically associated with dyeing while saving water and energy. The Seagull sections are knitted from our lightweight yarn sourced from South American crossbred sheep. This yarn, produced exclusively for Dale of Norway, is ideal for traditional midweight garments that require a lighter and softer feel. (Both yarn qualities have a fiber diameter of 27 microns). Garments knitted from a blend of Nature Undyed and Seagull must be hand washed.

History:
Rooted in Norwegian heritage, the Losna sweater recalls the earlier Sula sweater and offers the same comfortable silhouette with an updated design.
Named after Losna, a tranquil island in the Solund archipelago, the sweater carries the spirit of Norway’s west coast. Once home to only a few residents, Losna now flourishes through summer visitors drawn to its rugged shores and untouched landscapes.
