96351 Albertville Men’s Jumper
The Albertville jumper is a warm, chunky-knit jumper made from 100% lightweight wool, featuring a relaxed fit and a classic round neckline. Originally designed as the official team jumper for the Norwegian team at the 1992 Winter Olympics, the design became an icon of Nordic knitwear in the early
90s, known for its striking colour combinations and distinctive look.
It feels robust yet is comfortable to wear and stands out thanks to its expressive Norwegian pattern, making it equally suitable as a ski jumper, for a layered winter look or for everyday wear.
In the Beige (M00) colourway, the jumper is made from undyed, lightweight wool that
showcases the fibre’s natural colour palette from light to dark. By leaving the wool undyed, its natural properties are preserved, allowing it to be presented in its most authentic form.
This reissue remains true to the original and is reimagined with carefully selected yarn colours and a finely patterned neckband. The result is a faithful continuation of a defining moment in Norwegian knitwear, confidently brought into the present day.

Details:
Color variant Birch Mel./Coffee (M00):
Nature Undyed – undyed lightweight wool: Our undyed lightweight wool comes from Uruguay and shows the natural color variations of the fiber, ranging from darker to lighter tones. These different shades are sorted and blended into mélanges, creating a limited palette of natural colors. Since no dyeing process takes place, the yarn remains 100% natural and biodegradable. By avoiding dyeing, the chemicals typically used in this process are eliminated, while at the same time resources such as water and energy are conserved. (Fiber diameter: 27 microns). Hand wash only.
History:
Albertville is located in the French Alps, near the Italian border. The mountain town has a strong connection to alpine skiing and the tradition of winter sports. The 1992 Games
were the first in which the Olympic and Paralympic competitions were held in the same
location.
