A striking eight-petalled rose adorns the chest, centred within a horizontal ‘Dale 1879’ band, creating a clean, sporty focal point that pays homage to the brand’s founding year. Designed in the colours of the Norwegian flag, Nåle translates the mountain heritage into a contemporary alpine expression.

It comes from merino sheep that live in warm climates and is characterised by very fine, long fibres that ensure it feels exceptionally soft against the skin. (Fibre diameter 20.5 micrometres). History:
Nåle (‘the needle’ in English) is named after one of the three peaks (2,310 m above sea level) of the Skarstind massif. The highest peak of the massif, Skarstind (2,373 m above sea level), is Norway’s fifth-highest mountain – and it also lends its name to other models in our collection.
