The name Lusa is derived from the Norwegian word ‘lusemønster’, which means lice. The traditional Lusekofta (our Setesdal clothing) is known for the so-called ‘lice pattern’. These garments are decorated with the iconic lice pattern, a trademark of Norwegian knitwear.
